The SELCO OverDrive Content Selection Committee will meet periodically, as well as work remotely, and will:
- Select eContent appropriate to meet a diverse population served by the Online Public Libraries participating in SELCO's eBooks - OverDrive Value Added Service.
- Recommend procedural suggestions to the SELCO Executive Director and Automation Services Librarian for consideration in the implementation of this SELCO Value Added Service.
- Assist with the preparation of documentation and instruction of Online Library staff in the use of eContent.
The Executive Director will create the SELCO OverDrive Content Selection Committee and membership will be representational from among the libraries participating in the Value Added Downloadable Content Service. The new service is anticipated to begin January 2011. The SELCO OverDrive Content Selection Committee will have a standing roster with term limits.
