The Executive Director search process began officially on May 24, 2016, when the SELCO and SELS Executive Committee approved SELCO Executive Director Search Process and Delegation of Responsibilities. This document laid out the responsibilities of the Board of Directors and SELCO staff for the search. Among those responsibilities was the creation of an Executive Director Search Committee with representatives from the Board, SELCO staff, and member libraries.
As shown on the Application Timeline, resumes for the Executive Director position will be taken from January 03 – 31, 2017 with interviews starting in February. Our goal is to make a job offer to the successful candidate on March 08, 2017.
