| BLOG | Weblog, a website with a series of postings. Blogs are easily written and published via a webform using a free or low cost software. Many libraries use a blog format as their website. |

| ELM | Electronic Library for Minnesota, an online virtual library that gives all Minnesota residents access to magazine, journal, and newspaper articles, eBooks (electronic books), and information from encyclopedias, almanacs, directories, and other resources. ELM is funded by the MINITEX Library Information Network; State Library Services; Minnesota Office of Higher Education; and federal LSTA funds under the support of the Institute of Museum and Library Services. ELM provides information on a vast array of topics, including consumer information, arts and humanities, current events, health, science, social science, politics, business, and more. |

| LSTA | Library Services and Technology Act. It is administered under the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), our federal agency. LSTA emphasizes library integration of technology and attention to underserved targeted populations with a collaborative approach to library services and allows for a wider range of public-serving applicant libraries. |
