Practical Time Management
June 2, 2008 -- State Library Services will be bringing Patricia Wagner to the Traverse de Sioux Library System Office in Mankato on Tuesday, June 24th for a workshop called Practical Time Management: How to Get Things Done When You Don’t Have Time, People, or Resources. The workshop will be held from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This workshop is available to staff of libraries and library organizations of all types, and there is no charge for this workshop. A working lunch will be included (to those who register by June 13th).
How to register for the workshop:
You may register for this session online at http://mn.webjunction.org (click on “Calendar of Events”, locate the correct date, click to open event, scroll down to complete registration) or you may send your registration to Mary Ann Van Cura at maryann.vancura@state.mn.us. The deadline for registration is Friday, June 13th (lunch cannot be guaranteed for those registering after this date).
SELCO has booked both vans for carpooling to this event. If you would like to ride to Mankato with SELCO staff, please reserve your spot by Tuesday, June 17th. The vans will be leaving SELCO at 6:15 a.m. You may book your spot by visiting our training site. Please keep in mind this is just for booking a spot in one of the SELCO vans—you will need to register for the workshop separately.
If you choose to drive on your own, mileage reimbursement through the State Library is available with priority given to those who submit a mileage reimbursement request with registration by June 13th. Make sure to apply for the workshop in advance if you would like reimbursement. Reimbursements will be made after the workshops. And if you can’t make the workshop in Mankato, Patricia Wagner will be giving the same workshop in the following cities:
Monday, June 23rd—Chanhassen Public Library
Wednesday, June 25th—Minnesota West Community and Technical College, Granite Falls
Thursday, June 26th—St. Cloud Public Library
Friday, June 27th—Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College, Cloquet
