Board Approves Recommendation to Evaluate a Next-Generation Catalog for the Integrated Library System

April 25, 2008 -- At their April 22 meeting, the SELCO/SELS Board of Directors approved a recommendation from the joint Technology Policy and ILS Operation Committee to initiate a serious study to identify options and a time line to move to the next generation catalog for SELCO's Integrated Library System (ILS).  SELCO staff have begun evaluating Endeca as a possible replacement to the current iPac catalog.  For more information on this project, see What is a Next-Generation Catalog and Why are We Looking at One? at SELCO Librarian.
