At SELCO, we recognize that the continuous pursuit of excellence in the library profession is of paramount importance. As such we work to plan and provide opportunities for continuing one’s education ranging from conducting onsite workshops to bringing in nationally renowned speakers to providing funds for attending conferences of all sizes and topics.
SELCO staff designs training events to meet the needs of member library staff and trustees within our region as they plan for the future, continue their own education, and develop policies. All SELCO/SELS members are also welcome to apply for scholarships for events outside our region.
