The SELCO bylaws call for an Advisory Committee to the Executive Director comprised of the library directors from each of the member libraries. This group generally meets the second Tuesday of August, October, December, February, April and June. Members of the SELCO Advisory Committee are responsible for meeting management.
Officers: Chair – Ashley Dress, Caledonia Public Library, Vice Chair – Peggy Havener, Albert Lea Public Library, Liaison to the Board – Nicole Miller, Cannon Falls Library. The officers rotate through each position.
SELCO Bylaws Article VII Section 2. Advisory Committee:
The chief administrators of the member libraries shall constitute the Executive Director’s Advisory Committee. They shall be available to meet with the Executive Director at his/her request at least six (6) times per year to consult and advise him/her with respect to the discharge of his/her duties. The committee shall have only informal advisory power.
