Executive Director Search Committee Meeting Recap for February 10, 2017

The committee received a report from  Sue Hall, Library Strategies, summarizing phone interviews of six candidates carried out this week.  Based on Sue’s report and examination of the candidates’ resumes, the committee selected four candidates for face-to-face interviews.  These interviews will be carried out from February 21 through February 23 at the SELCO office.  The search process is still confidential and we are unable to release any information on the four semi-finalists.  After these interviews are completed, the committee will select two finalists to be invited back for further interviews and the Meet & Greet sessions for SELCO staff, Board of Directors, and library Directors.  For further details on the Meet & Greet sessions, to be held on March 06, please see the schedule at https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BzhGKxopcV6-V3JxaFkweXZ5TmM/view?usp=sharing.

After selecting the four semi-finalists, the committee discussed logistical planning for the upcoming rounds of interviews.

The committee did not set their next meeting date but were asked to keep February 28, 2017 free for a possible next meeting.  Recaps will be posted after each of these meetings.  As stated above, please do not hesitate to contact committee members with questions or comments.
