The Minnesota State Fair is in search of volunteers to help in the Alphabet Forest at the fair Aug. 24 – Sept. 4, as well as set-up Aug. 20 and clean up day Sept. 5. The Forest is a favorite spot for families to spend part of their day at the Fair discovering alphabet and vocabulary building activities. Each volunteer shift during the fair needs seven to nine volunteers to cover the variety of activities available in the Forest. You can volunteer as many or as few days as you wish, and each volunteer will receive an admission ticket for the day(s) they volunteer.
Shifts are 8:45 AM – 12 PM, 11:45 AM – 3 PM, 2:45 PM – 6 PM and 5:45 – 8:30 PM. Sunday, August 20 help is needed from 10:30 AM – 4 PM and on Tuesday, September 5 the shift is 11 AM – 3 PM.
