MackinVIA eBooks

The MackinVIA service provides a consortium collection of eBooks to patrons of school libraries. This value-added service is available to any SELS member school regardless of whether they are automated through SELCO.

eBooks and eAudiobooks

The OverDrive eBooks and eAudiobooks service provides electronic media to patrons of public libraries who participate in our online catalog.  With an account in good standing, patrons have access to a variety of eBooks and eAudiobooks from many major publishers.



You can also access eBooks from SELCO and eBooks and eAudiobooks from Rochester Public Library through the Libby app on your smart device.

Research Databases

Research databases from several major distributors are collectively purchased on behalf of the region by SELCO.  These are available to patrons of libraries who participate in the shared online catalog.

The state of Minnesota also provides access to a number of databases through ELM, eLibrary Minnesota.

Minitex has created a list of temporary access databases for all ages, usernames and passwords are included.
