Conducting an inventory is a process in Horizon that compares the information in the item record with the physical material on the shelf. It helps you to know what you actually have on your shelves versus what Horizon thinks you have. You begin by scanning all the material in your collection by collection code; once you are finished you run and work through a series of reports to clean up your collection.
