The Vetted Programs were created by request of the SELCO public library directors and intended to involve less staff time dedicated to individual programming plans. Library staff expressed a desire for a simpler, “turnkey” program approach that they could easily implement and manage for their communities. SELCO and the Vetting Committee maintain a catalog of performers on contract with SELCO to provide their services.
SELCO has also built an Additional Performers list for those who are NOT covered under SELCO’s Vetted Program funding. This data provided within this resource is informational only. Click HERE for more information.
The individual programs must be applied for by SELCO/SELS member libraries and fit into the performer’s schedule. This program will run on a first-come, first-served basis in regards to applications. Libraries are currently limited to three (3) applications per fiscal year. FY2017 Applications are closed. FY2018 Applications will open after July 15, 2017 and run through June 30, 2018. The three programs must be from the current Vetted Catalog.
Applications for Vetted Programs have no set deadline, as they are reviewed regularly by SELCO staff. You need to give SELCO staff adequate time to process and review your application, so a minimum of one month lead time is recommended. When submitting online, you will receive an email confirmation to the address used to fill out the application. This email confirmation will be sent automatically by the system after your application has been submitted. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please contact SELCO immediately as your application may not have been received.
Note: If you are applying for a performer from the SELCO Vetted Catalog, it is your responsibility to contact them before filling out the application to coordinate a date and time that works for both your schedules.
As always, performances and programs are considered tentative until official approval from SELCO.
All grant recipients are required to file a Final Report with SELCO upon completion of their program. Evaluation materials are due within 30 days of the program’s conclusion. Information submitted via the online form is secure and it may be saved & resumed at a later time if needed. When submitting online, you will receive an email confirmation to the address used to fill out the form. This email confirmation will be sent automatically by the system after your form has been submitted. If you do not receive an email confirmation, please contact SELCO immediately as your form may not have been received. Attachments to your final report may be sent to SELCO via Delivery or submitted electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org.
